After struggling with learning issues since I began my school career, I cannot explain the relief that I had when Mrs. Davanzo was my teacher and counselor. When most counselors ask you a question that they know the answer to or ask you to do something, Mrs. Davanzo asks you questions about your life that are thought provoking and have purpose to them; she encourages you to think outside of the box - and this is what got me where I am today at the school I want to be at, doing what I want to do! Mrs. Davanzo trusts that if she holds her students to the upmost standards, they will meet her there. Mrs. Davanzo is the most amazing teacher and counselor that I have ever had, she teaches your mind and spirit together, and the knowledge that she helps you find within yourself sticks with you, and you remember it.
